Modernizing systems – Revamping

Revamping extends the life span of a furnace or a treatment system by fifteen to twenty years.

P.R.A.F.I. carries out general renovations and more demanding interventions on systems and mechanical parts. Some of the common operations conducted in a revamping process are substituting and/or installing thermal fiber insulation walls, layers of insulation and /or replacing heating elements.

During a revamping process equipment is disassembled and tested. Extraordinary maintenance is conducted to bring equipment to a performance level as close to a new product as possible.
